RIP! Body of Elgeiyo Marakwet man recovered from a Lake in Western Australia

The body of a 23 year old Elgeiyo Marakwet man has been retrieved from Stackton Lake, Western Australia. The man identified as Orville Kimutai Tures is said to have gone missing while swimming at the popular swimming spot on Sunday at around 3.15pm.

His body was today pulled out from the popular swimming spot in WA. According to local media, the young man at some point required assistance while swimming but witnesses were unable to help.

The late arrived in Perth back in March to pursue further studies and it is sad that he's no more. The body is still with the Bunbury police. 

Plans are underway to repatriate his body. Local leaders have called on the community to join hands and support the process of repatriating his body which is expensive.
