In what came in as a surprise, Deputy president William Ruto has today come out guns blazing by attacking and terming the Covid-19 pandemic as a multibillion enterprise in Kenya.
He was reacting to an headline by the standard which had a picture of him captioned " the spectator."
In a tweet, the Dp said the following "at least for once it won't be possible to be blamed for what someone said "started in Wuhan as a virus, landed in Italy as a pandemic and now in Kenya as a multi-billion shilling corruption enterprise". Wacha niendelee kama spectator. ISORAIT."
This comes barely a few days after he criticised the police for the arrest of senators.
The Deputy president has in the recent past been missing in various official government functions contrary to what it used to be in the first term of the Jubilee administration.
