Through a statement by the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, the CS has termed the report by NTV that he asked the DP to resign as a misrepresentation of facts.
NTV reported that Matiang'i has called for the resignation of the Deputy President over a tweet in which he condemned the arrest of senators.
The Statement by the ministry stated that the CS has referred the matter to his lawyers.
"The unverified report is a misrepresentation of the true record of the proceedings which is readily and publicly available" read part of the statement.
The CS was appearing after summons by the Yusuf Hajji led Senate Security Committee to shed light on the dramatic arrest of Senators.
