According to documents seen by Nandi News, the teacher is alleged to have committed the act on April 23, 2024, within the school compound. The letter details that the teacher slaughtered the calf, took away the meat, and reportedly buried the skin within the premises—all without prior approval.
The school principal, who serves as the custodian of all school property on behalf of the Board of Management, had initially required the teacher to provide a written explanation for the incident. However, sources indicate that the teacher failed to respond to the directive.
Following the non-compliance, the school's Board of Management has initiated formal disciplinary proceedings against the teacher, citing gross misconduct and unauthorized handling of school property.
The incident has caused concern among stakeholders, with many calling for accountability and adherence to institutional protocols regarding school resources.
This is a developing story and Nandi News will provide updates as the case progresses.
