Nandi: Allan Kosgey Commands Majority Support in Latest Nandi Polls

Political aspirant Allan Kosgey has continued to solidify his position as the leading contender for the Nandi governorship, according to recent polls conducted by the political group Maskani.

The survey results show Kosgey leading with 51.3% of the votes (1,312 votes), while his closest challenger, Cynthia Muge, secured 25% (640 votes). Current Tinderet MP Julius Melly trailed at a distant third, garnering 9% (231 votes).

The online poll, which was conducted over the weekend, attracted over 2,500 responses, offering a glimpse into the evolving political landscape of Nandi County.

Allan, who currently chairs the Kenya Industrial Property Institute, is a legal practitioner and governance expert. He is also an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Previously, he served as Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) at the State Law Office of Kenya. Over the years, Allan has sat on several boards, offering key advisory services on governance and legal matters.

Allan has been widely touted as the leading contender to succeed Governor Stephen Sang, whose tenure will come to an end in 2027 upon the completion of his constitutionally mandated two terms.
