Why this smittened police officer got Kenyans talking

The maandamano Monday's and Thursday's are here with us. The opposition is agitating for the opening of servers, reduced cost of living among other issues.

The mass actions have been outlawed by the inspector general of police and have quickly degenerated into chaotic scenes.

This is the third time the Maandamanos have been carried out by the Opposition since they began back in 20th March.

The demonstrations have become chaotic with police officers forced to use tones of teargas and water canons to disperse the multitude of supporters who accompany the Azimio leaders.

The leaders have held close to their chests the itinerary of their convoys engaging the police in cat and mouse chase along the city estates.

When the call began, the Azimio-One leader Raila Odinga had indicated that their motive was to assemble at the CBD and present a petition to the president at Statehouse Nairobi, a fit that hasn't materialised yet due to the police barricades at every entry and exit point to the CBD.

Now back to the picture, the internet was yesterday in awe when netizens noticed how the police, probably smittened by the beautiful lady was all smiles. At some point, the lady while laughing heartily was tapping the officer on the shoulder which left us wondering what the officer had told her.

Anyway, in a day full of ups and downs, atleast the Kawanware based officer had a blast in the Maandamanos.
