Danny Miles, the cancer patient who sought Safaricom’s help for his daughter passes on

Maurice Ochieng aka Danny Miles has passed away days after writing a heart warming message to Safaricom asking them to take care of his daughter when he's gone.

Danny passed away on Tuesday night at 9 55pm this is according to his wife.

The father of one has been battling cancer for over a year.

"Hallo Safaricom, I am Maurice Ochieng known as Danny Miles, I am from Muhoroni," read part of his message to the company.

The post went viral with Kenyans from all walks of life urging Safaricom to chip in and make Danny's dream come true.

Danny's death has shocked Kenyans who had already been contributing to his paybill number to ensure that he gets his medication and treatment.
