Australian based Kenyan Alfred Koech

Many know him as Sergent, owing to the huge following he enjoys from his social media page, Alfred-Koech-Sergent which has more than half a million followers. The Kenyan who hails from Mosoriot, and resides in Perth, Western Australia has made a name for himself and is never afraid of courting controversy.

Alfred moved to Australia to pursue his studies at the Edith Cowan University where he eventually became its Ambassador which also became one of Alfred's nickname. Amb. Alfred Sergent is a household name in the North Rift region. He has friends spread across the globe. Some love him, others his fiercest critics. All in all, that doesn't stop him from doing what he does and living his life to the fullest.

Sergent who is currently in Kenya has been traversing a host of North Rift counties with a team from the Auscare International College, enlightening residents on how to go about with the immigration process to the land down under.

Auscare International College describes itself as a Kenyan and Western Australian family.

"Since 2009, Auscare Group is proudly Australia’s most diverse health care provider. We are a Kenyan and Western Australia family owned and operated and pride ourselves on our family first approach, starting with our team of nurses, carers and operations staff.

As a Kenyan I wanted to provide Australian standard education to the Kenyan society, hence why sister college Auscare Internal College was born.

We carefully choose the delivery of the highest level of service to disabilities, aged care and community service." Reads part of its description on the website.

Alfred and the team has toured Kericho, TransNzoia, Uasin Gishu and Nandi Counties over the past two weeks where it has engaged hundreds of locals who are looking to immigrate to Australia.

"Many people have been asking me how I got the opportunity to move to Australia, when I saw this opportunity to inform as many people as I can by Auscare, I took it, that is how we have been able to visit quite a number of counties in the North Rift region." He added.
