| From left; Governor Sang and Cherargei (courtesy) Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has petitioned the Nandi County Assembly on behalf of residents of Chepting'ing, Mogoon, Lessos Ward Nandi County over the deplorable state of the feeder roads under the county government. He said that he shall follow up on the mater to its logical conclusion. According to the residents, they wondered how comes the area had been neglected though they overwhelmingly voted for Governor Stephen Sang's administration. They lamented that for the past two years, they've been grappling with poor state of the roads which has caused them severe losses especially when transporting tea from their farms to the companies that buy their produce.
They stated that in certain instances, farmers are forced to carry their own produce from their farms to Mogoon shopping center a distance of about 3kms and would sometimes be disappointed when they get to the center and find the buyer has already left, leaving the farmers with unexplained loses.
