KEMRI director of corporate services Kamau Mugenda is among 18 patients who have succumbed to the deadly corona virus in the last 24 hours raising the total fatalities to 456.
While issuing the daily Covid-19 briefs at the Ministry of health, CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi reported 679 new corona virus cases in the country out of 6590 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
This brings the total cases to 28,104 with 743 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries in the country now stands 14,610.
The country's cumulative total test is now 369,091.
