The meeting to be held at the party's headquarters at Pangani was called by the party Secretary General Raphael Tuju comes ahead of election of a new county speaker slated for Friday afternoon after Beatrice Elachi resigned from the position on Tuesday.
"In light of the current developments at the Nairobi county assembly, you are required to attend a consultative meeting of all Jubilee elected and nominated at Jubilee Party headquarters i Pangani at 12 noon Thursday August 13, 2020 without fail", said Tuju in the letter dated August 12.
The meeting comes amidst chaos and supremacy battles at the assembly occasioned by rivalry between the reinstated majority leader Abdi Guyo and Beatrice Elachi.
The chaos at the assembly last month led to bloody scenes at the assembly precincts where Mlango Kubwa MCA Patricia Mutheu was assaulted by the police.
