Uasin Gishu politician Hon. Jonathan Bii has called upon deputy president's supporters to pray for him as he prepares to run for presidency in 2022.
Speaking at a facebook live show hosted by Australian based Kenyan Alfred Koech-Sergent, the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial hopeful asked the supporters to remeber to put in a word to the Almighty on behalf of the DP.
He said that the current happenings in government were a clear indication that some people were hell bent on ensuring that the DP is locked out of government.
He asked all Kalenjin leaders to rally behind the deputy President since he was the senior most official in government and was the only one that had declared interests in the 2022 presidential contest.
"Our Dp is the senior most politician from the Rift Valley, he also has influence and support from all corners of the country, most importantly is his perfect track record which is why it is important for everyone to rally behind him" He said.

HANDSHAKE
"The handshake was between two people, what about the rest of Kenyans?" He posed while alluding to the fact that the handshake had not achieved its intended purposes.
UASIN GISHU COUNTY
Mr. Bii is looking to take over from Governor Jackson Mandago whose term expires in 2022. He is looking to ride on his experience as an educator and someone who has worked closely with the youth to clinch the seat.
During the show, he shed light on how he influenced the introduction of the Moi University outreach program that saw students go back to their primary schools to mentor and encourage young pupils so that they could focus on improving their grades and eventually transition to secondary and finally university levels.
The program according to him, saw a drastic improvement in the number of people being enrolled into the Eldoret based University.
He said that during his tenure in the education sector, he has been able to deeply understand the needs of the youth while at the same time appreciating the challenges they go through.
ENGAGEMENT WITH THE DIASPORA
"Most of the youth I interacted with have found their way into the diaspora. No one can ignore the important role played by these men and women out there. I would encourage them to use their networks to improve the living conditions of their home counties. Over the coming days, I hope to further engage them and get to understand their experiences even better.
Hon. Bii has a strong support base cutting accross all the age brackets.
