Wesley Kipkirui had been captured improvising a filming setup by hanging his phone on a broom stick, using it as a makeshift camera stand and stabilizer while recording videos. The clip, which quickly gained attention on social media, highlighted both his creativity and the challenges faced by young digital creators in rural areas.
His determination caught the attention of Miss Naomie, a local entrepreneur and CEO of Mos Villa Restaurant located in Mosoriot, who was moved by his passion. She promised to support the young creator and delivered on her promise together with the Youth patron by gifting him a professional stand fitted with a ring light.
“He will now be able to continue doing what he loves with much ease,” said Naomie when contacted by Nandi News.
The new equipment is expected to significantly improve Kipkirui’s video quality and enable him to produce more professional content, potentially opening doors to monetization and wider opportunities in the growing digital economy.
Miss Naomie is well known within Nandi County for her active involvement in community empowerment initiatives and social media campaigns aimed at uplifting local talent and supporting charitable causes.

Her Mos Villa Restaurant has also gained popularity for promoting local culture, particularly through its signature mursik (fermented milk), a traditional Kalenjin delicacy. In previous fundraising initiatives covered by Nandi News, Mos Villa has donated mursik for auction, with a five litre package fetching up to Ksh 30,000 highlighting strong community support for local businesses and charitable efforts.
For Wesley Kipkirui, the ring light represents more than just equipment it is a symbol of encouragement and a stepping stone toward achieving his dreams.
Naomie and Hosea's gesture is also an indication that sometimes it is the small things that truly matter.
