Elgeiyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen has acknowledged indeed it was true that revolutions eats its children as had been alluded by Sen. James Orengo.
Speaking during a debate over the adjournment of the day's special sittings moved by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, the former majority leader agreed that he had been devoured by the revolution.
"We are facing an assault of the constitution. The constitutional authority of this house is being tested. Senator Malala called me at 3am in the morning telling me that his house was being surrounded by four vehicles. This debate is about the assault on the freedoms of the senate." He said.
"To arrest three senators, to make it impossible for them to come and make their democratic rights. Orengo told me here that revolution eats its own people, he told me that the government will be more harsh to me that it will be to him. Yes, it has eaten me, it has thrown me to the backbench, but now Orengo is sitting in a position of privilege than me. I am telling you Orengo, the government will also also eat you!" He added.
Sen. Murkomen was dropped as a majority leader by Jubilee party.
