Moses Kuria: BBI will sail through in all Mt. Kenya Counties

Gatundu South member of parliament Hon. Moses Kuria has stated that all Mount Kenya Counties will pass the BBI.

In an early morning post on his official Facebook page, the vocal Gatundu South legislator alleged that the BBI would sail through in the counties due to bribery of the MCAs.

"I have no opinion or position but I can only analyse and predict."he posted.

He further listed Kiambu, Murang'a, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Nakuru, Laikipia and Embu as Assemblies that would vote yes for the BBI since they had been bribed.

In his analysis, the legislator predicted that Nyanza, Western Parts of Ukambani and Central Kenya counties would pass the BBI bill.

He however noted that generally, the Bill would fail to garner the required number of Assemblies as only 22 would pass it.

He further listed counties especially in the Rift valley that would fail to pass the Bill.

Amongst those listed include; Nandi, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Kericho, Bomet, Kajiado, Narok and coastal counties including Mombasa and Kwale Counties.

As at today, three counties; Kisumu, Homabay and Siaya have passed the Bill while Baringo county is the first county to vote No for the bill.
