A 30-year old man from Transzoia County has contracted STI after he allegedly had sex with a donkey.
The man who works as a loader in Kiminini town is reported to have developed penile pain after seeking for treatment in the nearby Matanda health center and was referred to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret .
The man is reported to have grabbed the donkey and committed the bestiality act at a yard in Kiminini where its owner had taken it to the veterinary for treatment after being sick.
A passerby then caught him in the act and alerted the owner who together with other people confronted him.
The suspect blamed Covid-19 for his actions stating that he has not had sex with a woman since March when the pandemic started.
"I did it with the donkey because I feared doing it with a woman for fear of contracting Corona virus," said the man.
