Nandi: Sang's flagship project taking shape

Nandi governor's flagship project, "Kabiyet Milk processing plant" is quickly taking shape.

The milk processing plant will enable the local dairy farmers add value to their milk which will in turn improve their yields.


According to the CEC Agriculture Dr. Kiplimo Lagat, the county has been working on programs aimed at boosting agricultural production, ignite value addition and improve the lives of farmers.

The county government has been offering AI services to farmers with an aim of producing superior breed of dairy cattle that will be beneficial to farmers.

Visit by CAS Jebii Kilimo

Chief Administrative Secretary, Livestock and Fisheries Hon. Jebii Kilimo last year paid a courtesy call to Nandi governor Stephen Sang.

Agriculture CEC Dr. Lagat converses with CAS Kilimo

The CAS led a delegation from her ministry on a tour of the county. They were impressed by the progress undertaken by the government. They also toured the Milk processing plant at Kabiyet.
