Nandi County's Executive Committee Member for Education and Vocational training Valentine Chumo has obtained conservatory orders from the Employment and Labor Relations Court of Kenya in Nairobi. The court certified the matter urgent.
Through the papers filed in court on 16th April 2019, the CEC had sued the Nandi County Government and was seeking orders to bar the government from sacking, removing or interfering with her job or and discussing harassing her as the CEC.
Alternatively, she was seeking orders that in the eventuality she was sacked, she be reinstated forthwith pending the hearing and determination of the petition.
Her requests were granted by the court and the matter will be heard on 13-5-2019. Below are the orders she was seeking from the court.
