The poll which was conducted via his page and garnered 5,000 respondents called for the two leaders to collaborate moving forward to secure the reelection of President William Ruto in 2027.

Alfred posed the question, 'Should Raila work with President William Ruto towards 2027?' 63% of the respondents said yes they should while 37% disagreed.

There has been a growing feeling among their supporters that the two leaders could work together to secure a reelection in 2027. MPs allied to both the leaders have come out to support this newly found alliance with government allied legislators calling for the implementation of the NADCO report which called for the creation of the office of prime minister and that of the official opposition leader.

Initially, leaders aligned to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua had hoped that Raila would get back to the opposition after the futile attemp at AUC. They had hoped that a fallout would emerge immediately Raila got defeated.

Kalonzo Musyoka has called on Raila to join them in opposing President William Ruto's government.

There has been talks of a possible government reshuffle in the offing. President Ruto was recently forwarded a list of possible nominees for the position of Principal Secretaries. This reshuffle is expected to cement the newly established broad based government that saw members of the opposition join cabinet.
