The pictures captured below shows the wretched hygiene conditions and bad sanitary situation across the wards. Some Patients are sleeping on dilapidated beddings while others are forced to spend long nights on the corridors due to congestion. Latrines doors are broken with awful smell due to poor sanition. To other extent, blood stains on urinals were visible.

The Facility Lacks vitals medical equipments like syringes and gloves. The pharmacy is empty thus patients are referred to purchase drugs from private pharmacies outside the facility.

Some patients also expressed their fears due poor lighting at the facility. Cherargei's move has angered the residents of Nandi who are now demanding better services. This comes few days after Governor sang reshuffled his cabinet and appointed new Health CECM since Dr. Ruth Koech resigned after she was recommended for dismissal by the ad-hoc report which labelled several charges against her.

The netizens to some extent have questioned why the Government devolved health care.
