William Ruto unites hustlers in Machakos

Deputy President Dr. William Ruto has today united all senatorial hopefuls from Machakos and unveiled a new political candidate for the upcoming by-elections.

According to a post seen by Nandi News, the deputy president was upbeat on the unveiling of what he termed as a hustler's candidate.

"Grateful to witness the partnership forged by the Machakos Senate by-elections hopefuls in favor of Urbanus Mutunga Muthama Ngengele, a hustler from the county," read part of a statement posted on the official page of the deputy president.

 

The deputy president has been making continued inroads in various parts of the country. His political prowess was boosted following the recent win at Msambweni constituency where his preferred candidate Feisal Bader emerged victorious.

The unveiling of the candidate comes barely a day after Wiper party through its leader Kalonzo Musyoka awarded the party ticket to Mrs. Agnes Kavindu Muthama, wife to former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama who is a close ally of the deputy president.

The Senatorial by-elections are slated for March 18th 2021.
