Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala |
Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has pleaded with Uasin Gishu residents to support Musalia Mudavadi in the upcoming 2022 presidential elections as Ruto is still young.
The senator while addressing Uasin Gishu residents on Saturday November 28 at Ainabtich grounds implored upon them that Mudavadi was the best candidate for the seat as he is the one who will unite the country.
"Mudavadi is a good leader. This time round we want the country to be united, stand with Mudavadi and he will reunite the country",said Malala.
Malala went further to say that the system was against Ruto's presidential ambitions and that he should take a low profile and wait for his enemies to leave so that he can strike again.

"These people have bad plans for him. If you see that your enemies have planned bad things for you, it's not a must that you go. You hide in the Bush and once they have left you can now proceed. So we urge DP Ruto to hide in the bush in 2022 and let Mudavadi rule until 2032 then he hands over the mantle to DP Ruto", said Malala
The ANC leader who is also a former Vice President has previously confirmed that he will support no one else this time round.Championing the @MusaliaMudavadi 2022 ticket today in Uasin Gishu county. Mudavadi said that he is not ready to play second fiddle to anyone again after former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale urged him to be Ruto's running mate.
Before suspending his campaigns, the Deputy President had traversed the country popularizing his hustler movement in a bid to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, a move that has elicited mixed reactions from all political corners with a section of politicians accusing him of pitting the poor against the elites.
