Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has finally handed himself over to the police at Langas police station in Eldoret and is set to be arraigned in court over alleged incitement remarks days after Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng'eno denied the same.
Sudi in his statement said he as a law abiding citizen, handed himself over to the police at Langas police station on Sunday, September 13.
"As a law abiding citizen I have presented myself at Langas Police Station early this morning even before the officers arrive. It was unnecessary to be treated with a lot of drama by sending contingent of police officers to my home. I was away the time police arrived at my place. Thank you all for standing with me." wrote Sudi on his Facebook page.
Detectives have been pursuing the lawmaker since Friday, September 11 with the aim of arresting him.
On Friday, police stormed the MP's home in Kapseret but he was missing in action prompting locals to revolt against the police and barricaded all roads leading to his home.
