Lawyer Allan Kosgey has called on President Kenyatta to dissolve parliament as advised by the Chief Justice.
In a video seen by Nandi News, the gubernatorial hopeful stated that there was no need for further litigation on the issue.
"I want to take this opportunity to applaud Chief Justice Maraga for taking the bold step to advise the President on dissolution of parliament because it has failed in enacting legislation aimed at enforcing the 2/3 gender rule." Said Kosgey.
"It is unfortunate that there are people who are still engaged in litigations to scuttle Maraga's advisory to the President. We cannot be in endless litigations on the same matter. It is time we put this issue to rest. We are calling on the president to dissolve parliament. " He added.
Kosgey a lawyer and politician is expected to square it out with Stephen Sang for the gubernatorial seat in 2022. He has been making inroads in the Nandi political spheres, holding various empowerment meetings at the grassroots.
