Kapseret legislator Oscar Sudi has stated that he will not be apologizing over remarks he made recently.
Speaking to members of the press at his home, the vocal MP stated that there was nothing he said that warranted his apology.
"Hakuna mtu ameniambia chenye nilisema yenye inapaswa niombe msamaha" (no one has told me what I said that I should apologize for) he said.
He stated that ODM had no moral authority to lecture him on matters incitement. "ODM led by Raila Odinga is full of inciters, they have no grounds to lecture me." Said Sudi.
He further added that Raila Odinga ought to ask for forgiveness from Kenyans for utterances by Gladys Wanga, Millie Odhiambo and Babu Owino among other opposition leaders.
"If anyone is to apologize, then President Uhuru will make the apology on my behalf as the party leader." He said.
He questioned why Murathe and Atwoli were given a leeway to make inflamatory utterances that demean the deputy President.
He also questioned why certain Cabinet secretaries were involved in politicking and demeaning the office of the deputy president without any consequences.
The remarks by Oscar Sudi are expected to ignite a lot of debate.
