MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND COLLEAGUES OF HON. ROSELYN LEKIRIMPOTO

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Hon. Roselyn Lekirimpoto. Hon Lekirimpoto - KANU’s nominated Member of County Assembly of Samburu – was a dedicated leader who devoted her time, energy, and intellect to serving the great people of Samburu County.

She was a vibrant and indefatigable grassroot mobilizer; an advocate for equity; and a firm believer in activating and mainstreaming the voices of women in the political frontier. Her immense contribution to girl child empowerment is deeply etched in our hearts.

She also courageously battled the vice of FGM and promoted girl child education as the only socio-economic equalizer of our time. Most importantly, she was a gifted artiste who composed melodious songs that continue to educate and entertain us.

I, therefore, want to express my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Hon. Lekirimpoto as they come to terms with her sudden demise. May the Lord rest her soul in peace and give the family the necessary fortitude to endure this tough time.

Hon. Senator Gideon Moi
KANU National Chairman.
