9 counties to be hit by power interruption Tuesday - KPLC

 

Kenya Power has issued a public notice listing areas scheduled to experience power supply interruption on Tuesday.

The company said the interruption will be effected between 7.20 am and 5 pm in select areas in the counties.

Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Siaya, Kisii, Nyeri, Kilifi, Lamu and Tana River.

Nairobi

Areas to be affected include part of Kimathi Est, Jerusalem, Jericho, Metro Villas, Harambee Est, Uhuru East, Part of Buru Phase1, Buruburu Pri and adjacent customers.

Uasin Gishu 

Areas to be affected are Kapseret Lemook, Kapseret, Mosombor, Shajnaand Quarry, Chinese Quarry, Nilkath Quarry, Kapteldon and adjacent customers.

Nandi 

Areas to be affected include Emdin Lelmokwo, Kwa Philip Magut, Kipkongorwa and adjacent customers.

Siaya

Parts of Siaya to have power interruption include Simenya, Kodiaga, Maliera School, Sirembe, Lundha, Gogo Market, Nyangweso, Siriwo and adjacent customers.

Kisii 

Areas to be affected include Embonga Hotel, Kisii East Garage, CITAM Church, Senti, Botori SDA, Marshpark Hotel, Bosongo Hospital, Le-Premier Hotel, Kisii Junction Hotel and Mwenzangu Building.

Nyeri

Parts of Nyeri to have power interruption include Mureithi, Kagayu, Thunguma Market and School, Ndunyu and adjacent customers.

Kilifi 

Areas to be affected in Kilifi are Marereni, Gongoni, Krystalline Salt, Kensalt Salt, Marafa, Malindi Salt, KEMU Salt, Mwembe Resort, Savanna, Adu, Ngomeni, Kabicha Water and adjacent customers.

Lamu 

Parts of Lamu to be affected include the Whole of Lamu Island, Mpeketoni, Hindi, Mokowe, Witu, Kipini, MOA Village, Nyongoro, Kenya Navy and KPA Lamu.

Tana River 

Areas to be affected are Garsen, Hola, Masalani, Bura, Mango Plant, Makutano, Mau Mau Secondary  Charidende Market and adjacent customers.
