Musalia Mudavadi; The new power man in Ruto’s government

Musalia Mudavadi has quickly cemented his place in the new administration as Ruto's right hand man in matters government.

In recent times, the former Sabatia member of parliament has pronounced himself on matters policy. Recently, he is on record telling Kenyans that they should brace for tough times for the next three years.

Yesterday, he once again flew out of the country to represent the head of state in Nigeria for the inauguration of the new president H.E Bola Tinubu which takes place today at the Abuja Stadium.

Early may, Hon. Mudavadi was in Burundi to represent President William Ruto at the 11th High level summit of the Regional Oversight Mechanism of the Peace Security and Cooperation for the Heads of State and government in Bunjumbura, Burundi. He was the head of the Kenyan delegation.

Mudavadi who joined William Ruto ahead of last year's general elections had been a strong critique of the UDA wing when he worked with Raila and the former head of state.

In their pre-election agreement with Ruto’s UDA, Musalia Mudavadi was promised the position of Prime Cabinet Secretary, which was later on fulfilled when Ruto named his cabinet.
