Linturi's brother succumbs to Covid-19

 

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi who is battling Covid-19 has lost his younger brother to the pandemic.

The Senator broke the news of his brother's death on Tuesday evening saying the sibling had died while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital where he had been admitted for days.

"It is with deep regret that I announce the passing on of my brother Charles Kinyua Linturi. Charles passed on while undergoing treatment  in Avenue Park hospital, Nairobi.

Arrangements for laying to rest our brother will be communicated by the family soon." Read the statement from the Senator.
